Wow, the Lapidus website really brought back some memories. My folks had (have?) a place on White Lake. You can see it looking across from 17B, it's the boathouse you can see across the lake (used to have a green/white striped door). I was the idiot who rode that Hyrdocycle, the outboard precursor to the jetski, if you so remember.
I was also the last projectionist at the White Lake Theater, from circa 1976 - 1977 (summers only, of course!).
I had my wedding at White Lake in August 1983, but haven't been back since.
Does anyone out there remember me? Any old friends?
