I read your stories "bungalow Life" on the catskills site and they are fabulous. Your mention of Lefty's, El Monaco, and Dodge Inn to name a few instantly brings me back. Every essay that I read I connected with. How timely as we are approaching Memorial Day to think back to what that weekend meant as children getting ready to go to the "country". I'm curious what bungalow colonies you went to and for how long? Did you ever go to or see Lapidus bungalows? Are your stories published in a book? Glad you found the site, my brother Gary has made it possible for us to connect with friends that became like family summer after summer and I never tire of those memories. Thanks again for visiting this site and for your wonderful essays on bungalow life.
